my garden Hibiscus Stamen

The stickiness of pollen comes from it's tiny spikes. An experimentin high magnification.

Beautiful shot Tibi! The translucent shiny pollen makes me think of caviar :) The upper part of the stamen appears to have a little bit of haze over its center, could this be due to slight glare from a light source?

Wonderful translucent red .... very original.

I like the experimenting, it gives the stamen and polen an unusual sight. nice red nuances, and lighted/shadowed composition.

I am still building up my setup for this sort of shots, and yes, Paul, one of the major issues with the reverted lens is flare.I still have to find out how I can avoid it.
