kramer.bill 0 Posted May 6, 2009 I love the stone and brick patterns. The person and shadow really sets the mood. Link to comment
matthew.standley 0 Posted May 6, 2009 Fabulous, simply fabulous. I love the contrast, I love the shadow areas, I love the whole image. Link to comment
keith_robinson 0 Posted May 6, 2009 This POW is eye-catching for sure, and is well executed indeed, but I wish it focussed more singularly on either form or texture. With both so prominent it can achieve neither the impressionistic qualities nor representational story capture that are needed for my taste. This is a perfect example of where, for me, a picture grainily grabbed in an old Summar at soft full aperture might have rendered a more satisfying result. I know, that would have been yet another cliche, but with more Zeitgeist!) Link to comment

anuarpatjane 0 Posted May 7, 2009 It is a good picture, but to be honest, I can`t find a peculiarity, the kind of thing that makes a picture the POW. Maybe the elves want us to be intrigued by their decision and want us to figure a hidden reason of why this one was chosen. Best regards! Link to comment

d_f11 0 Posted May 8, 2009 Good contrast between shadow & light. Isolation. 'Has a "Europeanesque 50's old quarter" feel to it. Link to comment
walt_morgan 0 Posted May 10, 2009 I feel French. I hear high heels on stone. I want to follow but know I can't as Triangles dance over squares and rectangles. Calling to us "Come dance with us into the light." Every picture tells a story and this one has a beginning, middle and ending. Great work. Link to comment
