Someday Gabe's going to look at these pictures and say "Gee, Dad, didn't you shoot anything else?" But these aren't just snapshots but lovingly produced works of art.

That little foot hovering hopefully and longingly above the pavement brings a little emotional catch. The red brakelights appear sadly dismissive (although I know they're not). There is always a sense of sadness when mommy or daddy has to drive away.

this is a nice companion to the image of Gabriel and the picket fence. they have a similar mood. the corners of the world are dark, but Gabriel is in the light.
