Great perspective. I know the colors of the moss change seasonally, and it is presently this color up in the Hoh; I assume this is pretty close to what you observed. The maple leaf on the foreground rock is a nice touch, and I like the unobstructed view of the falls.

Michael,  Of your Elowah Falls images, this is may favorite.  The composition, colors, detail, and light are punchy and effective.  the red object on the front rock is a real bonus in contrast.  We are going to the Columbia Gorge in August.  How much of a hike is it to this site?  Is Elowah easy to find from the highway?  Thanks.   Best to you.
