This is my first attempt at converting to black and white. I used a

technique described in Martin Evening's book "Adobe Photoshop CS for

Photographers" on page 237. I would appreciate any input. Best wishes

... and captivating, Tracy. You really captured a strange mood, in the even spread of light and dark, and the touch of 'brown' you painted back into the black and white. (I assume you did that?) Toast

Very good attempt for black & white photography. Nice composition. In my opinion you should increase the contrast as it looks gray. There are no deep blacks in the picture. Congrats.
