Perfect Lighting, perfect toning, perfect composition, and great control over sharpness. My only comment would be the cropping; the upper part of the tower is missing! This feels a bit odd for architectural shots. But very its a good work all overall . Great Eye

Hyder I completely agree with you, it was a tight shot. When I straightened the image, I lost a bit of the upper tower which has bothered me as well. I do however have the original with the entire Tower intact. Appreciate your feedback.

I agree with all the good things said about this image. I too am a little concerned about the top of the tower. I am just wondering if you panned the crop up a little, leaving a little of the fountain out, would you not have succeeded in getting the top of the tower in?

Great stuff!

I really like the lights and shadows of the fontaine. Especially the interaction of the water with the figures is quite impressive. I think that a close-up would also give an expressive image, maybe with reduced depth of focus. I find that the whole image has a little bit to much information.

This is a very good image with beautiful sky and nice lighting. I'm also concerned with the lost top of the tower. Best regards.

Thank you all for your comments. This is very encouraging for an aspiring photographer. I have replaced the image with the tower intact.

Your opinions and crtiques are highly valued.

I disagree. This is photography, as the picture was created, taken, and post-processed just like every other picture taken through a camera.

Excellent concept. I love the vibrancy in this picture. The HDR is what really brings this picture to life as opposed to leaving it flat. Keep up the good work.

This is gorgeous; the lighting and the tonality are excellent, I think. I quite like the post-processing too...you've acheived a look that is different from the typical 'hdr look.' The little bit of fountain in the lower right of the frame is a bit distracting however...I wonder if you can crop it out without losing too much of the building behind it. Overall, though, this is a great shot.
