whatmaycome14 0 Posted March 24, 2009 From a photography standpoint, I wouldn't say that this is the best picture. I agree that the background is distracting, I'm not much to care about horizons... I've never agreed that they should be flat (obviously because in this case...the car should be!) I have to say however, that the choice for time of day really does cause this to be quite washed out. The car has no dimension to it. If you were to take this photo at sunrise, you'd get a much more profound photo. (I say sunrise because Daytona is on the east coast and you could get the sun behind the car...) All in all, I'd say this looks like a snapshot, not an artistic photo. That may come across strong, but I hope it helps. I have to say I love the attempt. I'd love to see this re-taken at a different time of day. Link to comment
