So many different types of mums. Like the contrasting background, really sets of the flowers.

Hey Warren....cool compositon...these are among my favorite mums...(kinda funky)...this is not a criticism...but a suggestion that you may agree to once you see it....when you view the image larger...you can see the 'bits and pieces' of the stems etc...just barely. They are not overpowering...but noticeable enough---they don't 'add' to the Comp in any way....so why not either clone them out...or get rid of them in whatever other 'process' you find easiest?? But still, I really like your image. A little bit of 'Funkadaliah' for my day!.......'Peace Brother'........(going back a few years.....time to break out my 'headband' and the suede finged vest my Dad made me.....gee....is that 'Woodstock' that's playing in my head????

I thought I had gotten rid of those stems in the photo before I posted it. Then, after posting and viewing it "larger" there they were. As my brother used to say "There's always aggravation"!!

 

Hey...you weren't thinkin' of puttin' on that headband and going out in the woods to sit around a campfire singin' Cumbia with Joan Baez were ya'?

Warren, this is such a cheerful image. This made me smile and think of summer and allthe wonderful things that come with it.

It does make you think of warmer weather. And yesterday, for the first time this season, I saw a few sailboats out. For me that's a huge mood lifter!
