derrickdehaan 0 Posted March 18, 2009 Marc, I cannot say for sure what is going on. I do know that the male in the nest stays with that deceased famale 90% of the time. Only leaving to feed, etc. I really do not know why the other male is tugging her feathers, but I do know that a fight between the two males ensued. I was only able to capture two shots, but the males tumbled to the ground and squabbled with each other. Forgive me Marc, for bird behavior is not a strong point of mine. Thanks for your interest.
