... street Su Casa, Mi Casa?

I never commented on this but there is a vulnerability to the girl that I think is remarkable. In a way, she reminds me of one girl in that haunting picture from the Vietnam War of children running down the road in shock after their village was napalmed, their clothes having been burned away.

The light reflected off the walkway provides a perfect background for the child. And there is a vulnerability here. It's a lovely picture and will linger in my mind.

I'm surprised to find that I never commented on this photo before.  In some of your images, particularly seascapes, there is an aura-like quality you achieve, a pure white of a quality that does not appear blown out, despite the absence of detail.  In this image, from the wet pavement, this child is enveloped in that aura, or perhaps she exudes it.  Regardless, this striking and singular, Carlos.
