tonmestrom 4 Posted March 11, 2009 you've found the perfect angle to make it work and in fact there is hardly anything distracting to be found. Good job in real nice b&w Link to comment

bengt1664878721 2 Posted March 12, 2009 Magnificent. A seamless integration of heterogenous elemenents, and a stunningly beautiful one at that. The sunny side of the street distilled and presented as a cool refreshment. Link to comment

wieslawmamon 0 Posted March 14, 2009 Elegant image with a dreamy and ethereal atmosphere, there is a longing for something unattainable in the woman's look. Very good composition and an impressive use of tones, needles to say:-}. Like it a lot, thank you Giuseppe and best regards -wm Link to comment

giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted March 14, 2009 your support and appreciation is really welcome. An important good news: The Online Photographer Random Excellence page is featuring guess who? Giuseppe Pasquali!! (see: http://theonlinephotographer.typepad.com/the_online_photographer/2009/03/random-excellence-giuseppe-pasquali.html) Yesterday, when I got home I received a big surprise: one of my most recent works titled Dog and Kite has been chosen for the Random Excellence page of the famous website The Online Photographer. If you feel like, please visit the site (really really interesting) and the page about my work where you will find - and hopefully join - an interesting discussion about my photo.CheersGiuseppe Link to comment
tonmestrom 4 Posted March 14, 2009 it only means recognition for a truly good photographer so it's a rather naturally deserved honour and long overdue. So I'm not surprised. To be brutally honest though I think your photo is a whole lot better than that of Koudelka which it is compared to (and I'm a fan of Koudelka's work). Many, many sincere congrats Giuseppe. More honours will come, of that I have no doubt. Link to comment
wingell 0 Posted January 22, 2010 Giuseppe, this is a marvelous image--beautifully composed and perfectly executed. One of the most hauntingly evocative photos I've seen. Well done! All the best...Bill 7/7 Link to comment
