Beautiful shot, Tony! I agree with Pierre, I'd bring up the exposure just a bit. It'll really show the details of the head.

This is a wonderful Ruffed Grouse portrait. As you were able to capture this in Winter the snow has provided a very uncluttered background. The feather details and your focus on the birds eye is perfect.

Perfect exposure and detail, can actually see the melting snow on the beak.  Nice capture!
