a step further ...

shooting the shooter is a theme I enjoy...a kind of tribute to our photographic passion...this image is real funny Pnina..not only the shooting girl, the guy below totally detached and looking at 90 degree, the smooth light and colors, the pairs of sun glasses....it seems they both could be connected and maybe not...it seems she could be connected to you and probably not...she's not shootig at you now but she could do it the next second turning a few degrees...real nice...

sometimes we seem thiefs... very well seen, is a pleasure to open this photo. i laugh also for your rappresentation of women and men.. you are right, we seems, how i can say?, differents? not so courious? not so alive?

I will not repeat what others already said about this one.

I am surprised to observe that without that little piece of her hair on the bright background, this photo would not hold my attention for long. The curly bit of hair seems to carry a disproportionate amount of weight in making the photo an interesting one. I am sure you knew it already. For me however, this serves as a lesson of composition: On the Importance of the Little Things.

Even the element of "fun" seems to have something to do with that! It serves as a surrogate for her face and, as such, contrasts beautifully with the too serious looking guy below.

Oh well, perhaps all I need is some rest to rectify my distorted perception :)

Late to the party...as usual!! Really great shot though Pnina. I'm not really reading all the comments, just skimming, but for me the counterpoint between the photographer, the fellow with the sunglasses and the beam is fabulous. Top stuff and great use of (your) camera ;)

Great street shot. I like the expression on the face of the passerby, he adds to the scene of life in the city.
