celasun 0 Posted February 22, 2009 Lucky me; having seen this after a really tiring day... In spite of the relative scarcity of elements (or, due to this) my eyes wander around and always remain within the frame. The colors really fit the composition. Must be printed, framed and displayed! luis.miro 0 Posted February 24, 2009 Great shot Pamela! The composition is original with the horizon line cutting the image in the middle...with the only exception of the sail. Peaceful and amazing at the same time. Congrats, Warm regards, Luis Link to comment
clayton_berg 0 Posted February 24, 2009 I enjoy the composition here, the eye wanders nicely from the bird, to the posts, to the boat. Very well seen and composed. As for what could be done better... the rule of thirds is more strictly obeyed if you were to lose some of the sky but I don't know if that would help the image. bisecting the horizon down the middle is effective here as the water so nicely reflects the natural purplish to blue gradient in the sky creating some very pleasing symmetry. I think this one is a keeper. There are those who might want some sky cropped out but I prefer it this way. Well done. Link to comment
JimCowan 0 Posted February 26, 2009 There are so many interesting elements in this photo, the viewers eye moves about the frame with lots to see. The light and tones are particularly beautiful. Link to comment
