What a cutie ... The pic looks much better in the larger view. I wonder whether it would be better to have pulled back a bit and gotten her whole head ... I'm unsure. There's an appealing intimacy at this distance.

Kezia, I can't understand the lack of ratings (your claim) on your photos. You have a lot of good shots that are above average for sure. This is one of my favorites. (can't resist a sweet face). As for Matt's reservations on the cropping, my view is that you captured her most compelling feature, that is, her eyes (you wisely chose to focus here also). Could have used a little fill to add 'snap'. The film, Provia, I feel, was a good choice in that you have no blown highlights due to high contrast. Would love to see a 16" x 20" print of this one. This is just too cute... Love it... A madly simple and straight on shot, but when the subject is that great, what else is needed... By the way, this could look great in B&W too. Cheers.
