Australian Superbikes

My first go at shooting motorbikes. What do you think? This was

the only roll of print film I used and the remainder was on Provia

100F, which I found to be superior. My only regret is that this

shot was not with the Provia.

I like this shot good blur from panning, the color is good but I agree better saturation with provia.

I agree about the film (Provia is great stuff for this), but really very nice work!

Great shot, nicely panned and exposed. I have nothing to add or any suggestions on improvement.

 

I hope you snapped it on good quality film to help enlarge it.

This is a great shot! I was wondering if you cropped tighter from the original photo or if you used a tele-extendor with your lens. If you are shooting with a 200mm focal length to get this shot, you are very close to the action and it looks like you are on the outside of a corner...which could put you in a bit of danger. Road racers are known to leave the track to practice their off-road riding skills with little warning!

Thanks for all your comments. There was no cropping on this shot at all, which I was so happy when I first saw it. The lens was right out at 200 and the shutter was on 1/125, can't remember what the aperture was set on. Finally, you're right this is very close to the action!! Amazing how much a media pass helps!
