Thank you very much not only for the pair of sevens but for telling me all of the things you like about the image. Very honestly when I threw this baby into the lion's cage for rating and comments I was not sure if it would be taken as fodder or whether a bond of great friendship and admiration would result. To say the least I was pleasantly surprised at the reaction especially as I have thrown stuff into the cage on prior occasions and did not get the reaction I was expecting. But that is the nature of the 'art/photography' world. I was researching the web tonight for various post processing articles and don't think I found anything useful. But we are on journey of learning and exploring and it is a trip I want to continue as long as i am in photography.I am also exploring the possibility of a long road trip late summer to the west - Canada and the USA. Right now it is just a dream and a wish. warm regards,

My first impression was that the architecture of the house corresponds perfectly with a local climate conditions, it gaves a feeling of safety. There are no visible fences, that is telling me something of the people living there and local customs. The house is open to the world by many windows and a hudge porch, yet it's stone structure gave a feeling of endurance. The sky emphasize and give a perfect background to the entire idea..It would be interesting to see the same house at the spring, summer and a fall. It is clear 7/7 image, but the rules..Cong.

Your pictures never cease to enthrall and this capture is quite appealing. I look at this and to me it has a bit of an animated quality. The sky is certainly dramatic and that is the appeal of using this HDR technique. The background kind of resembles an angry ghost with its arms stretched out about to direct its wrath towards the house.

I like this a lot! It HDR and beyond. There's a fine line between HDR I can stand and that I can't, but this has no relation to that. It's a treatment that really works. I like the small bits of color and the drama and emotion of the sky.
