Great detail, composition and use of dof. I like the vignetting you added too. Color saturation is a bit radioactive though. Great shot!

I really love this - the colors compliment each other very well, and the focusing is excellent. The lighting of his/her head is also wonderfully clean and even, allowing the texture to pop. Great job!

Some of the shallow DOF bokeh looks rather fake -- otherwise a fantastic image! Such color and sharpness with a subject willing to proudly pose.

The best lizzard shot I've ever seen!!!
Framing, focus, sharpness, color, everything perfect.
But, why two signatures?
There are many wonderful photos here ruined by intrusive signatures.

This is a Great photo, that gives you a view of a reptile, that you only got in 1950's Godzilla movies. Well done and congrats on the POW.

This really beautifully done & presented. The lighting & DOF treatment are excellent. Also excellent is the detail where it matters. Without question very deserving of POW

Stunning macrophotography.
The bokeh is perfectly true because of you can see the decreasing sharpness on the branch.
colors are stupendous.
Congratulations for being choosen for POW !

Brilliant, stunning, skilfuly conceived and presented.... These are but some of the words and phrases I would use to describe this image. I mean, it has vibrant colours, good use of DoF, and a wonderful composition through skilful lens perspective and of course the subject is a handsome model. This photo could easily adorn the walls of many nature lovers, zoos, wildlife societies etc... Christopher, you have done a great job here and the elves have gotten it right once again.

Love the shot. Very nice and sharp, but the out of focus area is possibly too abrupt. Was it "helped along" by adding blur? I am bothered by this striking photograph for having too many photoshop cutesies included...

First is the copywrite, then the signature, a frame and finally the shadow behind the picture. To me this is too much. Try eliminating any two of those. I think the colors, although I like that green very much, are a bit too exagerated.

Additionally, I would crop it away where your signaure is, and add about as much to the top and left side. That would put the center of attraction in place for following the "rule" of thirds.

Congratulations,
...Willie the Cropper
