No HDR. Single Frame exposure on Nikon n90s w / Fuji Velvia & split

GND Filter.

The toughest part of this shoot was waiting for the big waves. I'd get

one wave roll in, but the sun was too high, and there was too much

flare. It would take several minutes before another wave large enough

to make this much spray. As the sun got lower, it seemed like the

large waves took longer and longer between sets. I was getting really

worried that the sun would set before I got another good wave.

Luckily, one last really large wave came in with a really explosive

crash. I felt so lucky, 'cuz this really was the last wave of the day

like this before the sun dipped below the horizon.

Thanks for looking.

Fantastic, Impressive capture!!! Excellent lighting, color and contrast... Well Composed... Beautiful Seascape! Well Done! (lighting is extremely difficult in this shot, and I admire how you pulled it off so Well!!!)

Another "well done". I've tried to capture this type of light and wave action (none too successfully) and know how hard it is
