I always try to put a little different touch on places like Tahoe or anywhere else that have shot over by many photographers. This particular spot required a little bit of work to get to, including some rockclimbing skills. Such small coves like these are scattered along Tahoe's shores, offering unique compositions and in this case... a bit of solitude and reward for anybody willing to explore.

Keeping with my typical style of Tahoe shooting. Thanks for looking =)

Great lighting and composition. It seems like it could use some noise reduction, but maybe it's jpeg artifacts. Congrats on a great shot.

I keep coming back to this shot. I am curious to know where this is. I am pretty sure it's south of Secret Cove and maybe south of Hidden Beach. Also I would like to know when this shot was taken so I can estimate the current water level. Thanks.

Thanks everyone. I'm not on here very often so you'll have to excuse me. Bryan, you're actually very close. This spot is literally just north of Hidden Beach. It's hard to get to, requiring a miserable scramble through waist high manzanita and steep granite. This was shot in November and Tahoe water levels don't really fluctuate so no need to worry there. However, good luck accessing any area north of Sand Harbor from December through March! Be careful when you venture down there. Keep inspired friends.

Beautiful composition and photograph. I love the pastel color palette. Maybe there's a touch too much magenta, but that is a personal call. This really evokes the beauty of Lake Tahoe so well though. Very nice work, Paul! Cheers! Chris
