joe-tury 0 Posted January 20, 2009 Not quite sure about the foreground. It seems incomplete. The sky is fantastic though. Link to comment
dandem 1 Posted January 20, 2009 Cool capture, Lester. It seems the trees in the foreground are leanind into the shot which leads my eyes to the awesome sky. Fantastic shot all round. Well done, my friend. Regards, Lawrence. Link to comment
llgarcia 1 Posted January 21, 2009 Unusual cloud formation underneath the San Gabriel Mountains viewed along California 2 or the Angeles Crest Highway late afternoon this January. Thanks! Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted January 21, 2009 Yeah, love the sky, not sure about the foreground, either. I think it competes with the sky, and you give both equal footing. I would have gone for more sky. Still a nice image. Link to comment
jmarcraveau 0 Posted January 22, 2009 I like the composition and find the bushes in the foreground part of it. Very nice B&W conversion Beautiful sky. Beautiful image. Regards, Jean-Marc Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted January 22, 2009 I like this too. I think it is pretty hard to develop a really effective composition in the coastal sage scrub habitat, as it is so uniformly dense and brushy. But, all in all, I think you have done a great job balancing sky, distant mountains, and foreground scrub. Nice black and white conversion too. Take care, my friend! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
geu4king 2 Posted January 23, 2009 The lighting of the trees in the foreground, contrasting against the dark mountains, plus the flow of the sky, enhances the overall Beauty of this Image!!! Overall, Outstanding lighting, tones and contrast... Well Composed and Very Well Done! Link to comment
