morteza.safataj 0 Posted January 17, 2009 Here is Alangdare forest located in Golestan province in north of Iran. It was challenging to find a stable composition due to the form of trees and stream. Finally I came across this scenery as you see in the photo, I attempted to make an interesting foreground to convey a dreamy atmosphere to the viewer from fall season. I used 2 PL filters instead of ND filters in order to increase the shutter speed. All C&C are most welcome. Canon 350D, F/22, 20 s, CPL filter, sigma12-24 mm@12mm Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted January 17, 2009 I like your use of filters to slow down the water. I enjoyed looking at your portfolio. Good use of rich colours. P Link to comment

oistein 0 Posted January 19, 2009 Not always a fan of long shutter shots, however this works very well indeed. Fascinating actually. I feel like I want to crop away the upper 1/5 to produce a slightly more relaxed overall atmosphere, but that might be just me. -Oistein Link to comment
