GerrySiegel 868 Posted January 15, 2009 A very zen photo. Lets the imagination do its work. It will not be too everyone's taste, but it grows on one...I wish you well, gs Link to comment
stp 6 Posted January 15, 2009 It fits my tastes very well - nicely done. Not sure, but I might pan the camera to the left so that there is more space to the left of the furthest pole rather than space to the right of the nearest pole. I hope others will comment on this suggestion. Also, since most Western viewers read from left to right, you might consider flipping this horizontally so that it fades from left to right (if you're not adverse to this degree of manipulation). patrickjacobson 0 Posted January 16, 2009 Thank you Gerry! Im glad you liked it! =) Stephen, i didnt think about flipping it at all.. but i think you are right here and will try it out =) Im glad you enjoyed it! =) I have more space on the original image... didnt liked it at first but will do some tests again. stp 6 Posted January 16, 2009 Patrick, this same comment about left-right orientation was given to me by someone on one of my images that had a diagonal line, just like yours. Here's the original: http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2789471 and here's the flipped version (also converted to B&W): http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=4032092 Link to comment
patrickjacobson 0 Posted January 16, 2009 I see what you mean and i agree that the flipped version is far better. I will try it on my two images aswell! =) thanks once again. Regards, Patrick Link to comment
