jeffreylee 0 Posted January 14, 2009 Hooker Valley, New Zealand is an astonish location to see Mt Cook. Mountain Cook is located almost at the center western of Southern Island. It is not far to reach to spot which I took this photo. It was about 6 hours drive from Christchurch. Mt Cook is 3753m and it is the tallest Mt of NZ. Shame I didn't get the full view of Mt Cook but just half and the peak was covered by the rain cloud. Hiking from the end of Mountain Cook Road, from car park to this spot come and go need around 4 hours. 1Dmk3, 24@24-105L, iso 100, 1sec, Lee GND filter. Link to comment
vincenzo_corbo 0 Posted January 14, 2009 Very nice composition and mood. Colours are a little bit washed out but it wasn't a sunny day, isn't it? Link to comment

wogears 186 Posted January 14, 2009 Great use of slow shutter. Conveys a strong mood, and I like the saturation in the grass and lichens. Link to comment

vandanabajikar 0 Posted January 14, 2009 Hello Jeffrey, good low POV and composition. The details are nice in this scene. I see a bit green tinge on water, and feel could be corrected with the color adjustment. thanks, Vandana Link to comment
ianward 0 Posted January 14, 2009 Fantastic depth to a fantastic scene. I really like the motion blue of the water and the subtle colour throughout the image. Link to comment
