This and millions like him are one of the reasons I created the plan , for as the roads are enclosed and the land used to produce cash crops , areas would be set aside campground like that would house any who need it ,.Great shot of some one in need ! Hope you find everything you seek in the New Year !

Jeffery,Jorg, El, Jose and Vicente...Thank you for your supportive comments...El and Jorg...If possible, I always prefer B&W for my street shots...In this case I didn't find enouph tonal range or contrast...one can't see the pennies or the garbage as clearly...I felt it didn't have as much impact...these were my results....

Excellent point of view and composition. Strong social statement as well. Glad he couldn't see you taking his picture. Seems a little ironic for me to say this, but Happy New Year to you, Marjorie!

There is a certain exploitative aspect to this sort of image that makes me a bit queasy. On the other hand it's powerful and perhaps serves a good purpose.

Even thougn it was well photographed without revealing his face, I have a problem with that kind of photos, because I think it is entering to a very low private life, without asking if he agree's to be photographed in his situation, and it will not change or help him( so your title fits).

 

I know you , and I know that your intention was not exploitation, more showing the under privileged among us, and still ....
