This and millions like him are one of the reasons I created the plan , for as the roads are enclosed and the land used to produce cash crops , areas would be set aside campground like that would house any who need it ,.Great shot of some one in need ! Jeffery,Jorg, El, Jose and Vicente...Thank you for your supportive comments...El and Jorg...If possible, I always prefer B&W for my street shots...In this case I didn't find enouph tonal range or contrast...one can't see the pennies or the garbage as clearly...I felt it didn't have as much impact...these were my results....

 

So sad. Good pov and I think you are right about seeing the pennies in the color version.

There is a certain exploitative aspect to this sort of image that makes me a bit queasy. On the other hand it's powerful and perhaps serves a good purpose.

Even thougn it was well photographed without revealing his face, I have a problem with that kind of photos, because I think it is entering to a very low private life, without asking if he agree's to be photographed in his situation, and it will not change or help him( so your title fits).

 

I know you , and I know that your intention was not exploitation, more showing the under privileged among us, and still ....
