stp 5 Posted December 31, 2008 I don't think so. It creates a certain mood and conveys a particular message. Lighten it up and the mood and message would be different. Some may say there is too much sky, but crop it and again the mood and message would be different. I'd be very happy with this. I like how the rock on the left adds some desirable asymmetry to the image. Link to comment
wood 1 Posted December 31, 2008 Thanks for your comments. I included the rock for the very reason you mentioned. Link to comment
thadley 10 Posted January 1, 2009 I agree with Stephen fully and by the way it is an excellent image. Everyone has different taste buds and mine are to err on the side of light and colorful so I don't think that I would hang it on my wall. If I was making a movie or CD jacket with lots of space to write stuff in the sky area I would seriously consider this high quality image. Hope this was helpful and Happy New Year. Link to comment
helenjenkins 0 Posted January 1, 2009 I think the darkness really contributes to the atmosphere - much lighter and I think you would lose a lot of the originality. Link to comment
wood 1 Posted January 3, 2009 Thank you for your comment. My tastes do favor the darker look in this photo. Link to comment
