Lots of beautiful green in this one. Have you thought about cropping some of the blurred foliage off the right side of this. That might also make the grasshopper become more of the focus.

I threw a cropped version up in my gallery. I'n not sure how much it changes the picture. Share your thoughts. With macro photography, a distant background is going to be blurred because the depth of field is extremely shallow. The blurred image can add context while helping to set off the foreground crisp image.... it all depends on the photo. I'm generally a fan of no to minimal cropping; I like to try to compose the "perfect" picture full frame. But sometimes cropping really can improve a good photo. BTW, I like your Thanksgiving Sunrise.

The upper left corner is distracting, subject detail and image quality excellent, congratulations.

Diego - I think you're absolutely right. I Just covered the left side of the photo with my hand, and it looked a lot better. I will crop the left edge and upload it to my gallery. Thanks for the input!!

So lovely summer feeling here. I like this bacause you have used only color green and i think you have used Dof nicely too. and this little green creature... Good work Sandra!
