alexandrapictures 0 Posted January 4, 2009 I would crop that person from the right corner ...and give a larger space down, near her feet ... 5/6 Link to comment
geertje 0 Posted January 8, 2009 I agree on cropping or cloning the person on the right..What also bothers me a little is the reflection of something metallic halfway in the building. But I disagree on the need to giving the woman more space in the front. She does not need it...this way she looks feisty enough to step right out of that frame and onto my desk any minute.. I often like how my eyes are being lead into a picture by something or someone in the space in the foreground.. but in this composition my eyes first see the woman, stop for a while to have a real good look at her (beautiful face!) and from there on are lead all the way back by the diagonal of the building. Adding even more to the feeling she has come a long way..... Good shot.. sure works for me:)! Link to comment
newbie1 0 Posted January 9, 2009 You know, I will have to agree with your observations. I never noticed untill you pointed the two issues out. Thank you very much for your critique. I will go to my photos and photo shop this one right away. This photo and critiques are why I, as a newbie, need to be critiqued; others may see what we missed. I am learning from these very constructive critiques. I took this photo into Photoshop and adjusted it. Please refer to the adjusted photo, which is here now for your critique. Link to comment
