justin_grant 0 Posted December 18, 2008 The glitter on the nipple is a bit unfortunate, but the model wouldn't shoot without it. I still think it's not much of a distraction, and maybe even adds to the aesthetics?? I'd love to hear your opinion on why it's okay to show your entire breast, as long as the very very tip isn't displayed... haha. I always find that an intriguing phenomenon...especially here in Utah. chipgarber 0 Posted December 18, 2008 I'm with you,Hugh. A great shot wrecked by the glitter. I especially like the goose bumps. Beautiful composition. Best wishes, Mark Link to comment

spider71ko 0 Posted December 19, 2008 Along with everything else, the lines are perfect in your photo! Link to comment
carlwakefield 0 Posted December 19, 2008 I would preffer it without the glitter but the pose is really great. I really like the lines of the back and the curves. I think partical cut on the head not so good. I would think to crop so its finished at the should no head or more of her head at least to the forehead. Excellent exsposure. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 19, 2008 I too would prefer it bare. Otherwise Justin Grant is written all over this - simply hi-quality. Link to comment
mclain swift 0 Posted December 19, 2008 Very unfortunate about the nipple. I too don't understand our aversion to nipples - female nipples in paticular. Incredible photo nonetheless. Link to comment
robertfarnham 0 Posted December 19, 2008 The evil nipple. Such a strange phenomenon. I find it funny that many models will shoot photos like this and much more sexually charged ones - jiggly bootie shots and the like - then say on their profiles (One Model Place / Model Mayhem) that they "Don't shoot nudes"...that they are "morally opposed to showing their bodies like that". Ha. Great photo Justin. Your work has always impressed me. Link to comment
thomas_collins1 0 Posted December 20, 2008 Justin, I agree with you, even though an image like this still has purpose in some genre's of advertising. It IS a beautiful image regardless of how modest the model might be. What I find interesting is when a model refuses to show her nipples but is more then willing to grab her breasts with her hands to hide them. Um... shall I point out that such images are probably more erotic than going a'natural? Anyway, I always enjoy your work. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thomas Link to comment
ruimarto 0 Posted December 20, 2008 I'm with you on this one. The nipple thing is kind of the black sheep in the picture. And I also don't understand why showing the whole breast but not the very tiny tip. Woman really are complicated. Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted December 20, 2008 don't think so spider but either way beautiful Link to comment
k c 0 Posted December 20, 2008 I like the glitter. I think it makes the shot more unique. Actually that's why I clicked this photo while browsing the gallery. I think it would be also great without that, but like it better this way. If there is something that I'm not 100% sure is her skin on the face. The location may have been cold but normally the skin on the face (especially around the nose) wouldn't turn that orange-like. Link to comment
billlong 0 Posted February 5, 2009 Justin, excellent lighting and graphics...what's not to like? Regards, Bill PS Compliments to the model. Link to comment
joe-tury 0 Posted February 8, 2009 The overall pose works great.I also like the goosebump texture. Link to comment
gooseberry 0 Posted November 17, 2010 ...I would have assumed that the nipple cover was part of your concept, and a good one at that: a wee twist on the nude genre giving it a fresh look. Apparently, it's not uncommon for great inventions to be a result of an accident or a mistake ...or a model being a "prude" ;) Link to comment
