Only quibble with this one (and I'm not normally worried too much about this) is that the horizon is slightly tipped. With this being a highly graphical image, the slight angle is realy noticeable.

Love the lead in with the lines and shadows, though.

Thanks for your comments Dave, I had actually rotated the image by several degrees from the original but felt however I had it I couldn't get everything looking straight ( I thought the light house on the right looked as if it was leaning to the right) Having said that, after your comment I looked a little closer and found that you can actually see the sea at the horizon under the piers. Putting a straight line on that I found it was out by a little over 0.6 of a degree. I shall have to watch out for that in future. Anyway I am glad you like it despite this, take care. -Richard

Richard,

I see your dilema, now. The actual horizon was likely straight, but I made the assumption that the horizon followed the structures. Of course, as I see it, your initial image does have the lighthouse vertical.

I get caught up in this sometimes and have been known to use the transformation function in Photoshop to adjust these things a little when I'm unsure if the original image was really truthful or a result of the lens or perspective.

Regardless, it's quite a nice image and, as they say, 'well seen'.

Cheers,

Dave
