Even if your framing is somewhat disappointing because your main character is cut off just above his hands, your composition is strong and very appealing. I think that the many different rich colors really make the image. Very nice ! regards. J.

He does not look sad to me; maybe that's his nice car on the left. You should be careful to not photograph people with the unconscious motivation of illustrating your superiority. Too many people take pictures of others less fortunate or less aware, without providing any artistic or editorial statement. These are exploitation photographs, even if the subject is unaware (or even gives permission). This one does not really provoke a strong reaction, it just doesn't say very much.
