I like the tone. But the dark colors in the bottom are out of tonal rage here to my liking . A little crop would do. Otherwise it is a very nice , dramatic vision.

Great shot! The chaos of the waves and the sky are such a contrast to the buoy in the center that there is a real struggle between them. I keep looking back at the buoy and wondering how it keeps its place. The colors are perfectly suited to the forms, and the color gradations are quite lovely.

Fantastic! It looks almost like a romantic painting. I also like the dark tone of the sand. I agree that a little (very little) crop in the foreground would improve the photo.

What a great photo. I am getting the feeling of being literally squeezed between the stormy sky and no less stormy seas...

Very nice, lights are OK but i think the sky is a bit too blue (not the same as the see). I like the beach like this but you can crop it as others suggested, it doesn't bother me... The construction in the background is not enough sharp.

With all due respect to the previous critics, I think some of them are over-analysing this. It's a superb photo. Period. In fact, I like the way it goes from the dark beach to the grey sea to the blue sky and clouds. I wouldn't change a thing.

This shot is absolutely amazing! I wish we got cloud cover like that! Great work!!!! I love all of your wave pictures.

I don't think I've ever seen an image that has caught me quite like this one! Amazing photograph, excellent capture on the storm-waves and the rolling clouds in the sky - I don't feel this image is too dark at all, but like the gloom feel to it.

I live by choice by the sea, so I know how beautiful it can be and I also know how difficult it is to restitute that beauty, and here you've managed perfectly...
