nhut-nguyen 0 Posted December 7, 2008 I want to apologize to those who find this image disturbing, but let's face it, this kind of stuff happens every second in nature - one dies so another can live. Anyways, I stalked this guy for over two hours and had to go from ISO 400 to 1600. Thank you for viewing, commenting and rating. Link to comment

knobby6 1 Posted December 7, 2008 Love these kill shots. Pleasant looking noise, although not as nice as Nikon's. {o:} Link to comment
nhut-nguyen 0 Posted December 7, 2008 For a moment I wished I had the D3 low noise, but then I thought Canon white lenses reflect heat better :D Link to comment

copeg 0 Posted December 8, 2008 It might be graphic, but it is also quite dramatic. Great work...your patience seemed to pay off! Especially like the droplet just below the prey. Link to comment

racmia 0 Posted December 9, 2008 Great captures. The only thing I would suggest is to reduce the noise in the computer (ninja, maybe) caused by the high ISO. That's all. Excellent. The waiting time was justified. Link to comment
richard_cox2 0 Posted December 9, 2008 Fabulous timing. I thought they only ate fish. Link to comment

naturetrek 0 Posted January 2, 2009 Hello, sorry for the late reply. I used Neat Image Pro to remove the noise in this photo. I've never used Noise Ninja, but Neat Image does the job very well, most of the time. Link to comment
