alight 0 Posted November 29, 2008 this is really well done. Sharpness and detail are very good. The tiny bird on the tine cone with nothing else disturbing the composition are quite unique. Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
GerrySiegel 868 Posted November 29, 2008 The bird and cone look great. Since I imagine the background was altered via post processing I would have suggested just a little more texture and blending of form in the background...so it looks less like a textbook Audubon display of the species. Not a negative. Just a random thought. I like it. I like these little guys. Never saw one in person:-) But they seem like the finches that sit on my back fence. Quick as quicksilver... GerrySiegel 868 Posted November 30, 2008 Not quite 3-D as that is a technical term I see get tossed around. It is vivid and shows contour, Not quite depth as in stereoscopic binocular vision I must insist. Still I get the point, I like the cone, what variety of pine is the bird resting on. And does it eat the nuts on the cone or must they fall and dry out I wonder...gs Link to comment
