MichaelChang 12 Posted November 19, 2008 A few impressions, Tiffany. The rendering looks like a pencil sketch (nice). The composition is tight (your style) but Shayne's back, rather her shirt dominates in a way that causes her feet and hair to become points of interest. Thinking out loud, maybe sitting on the floor, back against the sidearm, or even sitting on the sidearm, both profile view, might have addressed this. Link to comment
florianabarbu 0 Posted November 19, 2008 This work is so beautiful , Tiffany, look like a drawing from an old master painter and in the same time still moderne. Link to comment
suspendedmoments 0 Posted November 19, 2008 a very interesting study/capture I do like the movement and light play with the fabrics compositionally, it gets attention and that's a good thing here the tattoo draws my eye.. possibly it's a key element for the subject? It has weight in this particular composition nicely done Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted November 19, 2008 Ahmet...Michael...Floriana and Frederick..thank you for all the comments. Everything you have noted helps me. Michael...intention...this was one that made itself...I don't know how or why I did it. I do know that when I looked at the original file...I was drawn to the hair...tattoo and feet. I liked that and hoped to present it that way. Frederick...I guess the tatt means "jaded" in russian which I thought was interesting because there is such an innocence to Shayne....ah the youth. I guess I thought that I was jaded in my 20's and then after 30....things got really interesting. Floriana...I cherish your comments...you...the lady of the light! Link to comment

Landrum Kelly 64 Posted November 23, 2008 This is a fascinating shot, Tiffany. I dare not even try to figure out what makes it work, but it works very well. --Lannie Link to comment
