adan1 0 Posted November 21, 2008 Hope you are doing better. This is a great shot with presence with the sign making a powerful "here I am" statement. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted November 21, 2008 Thanks. I'm pretty much back to my old self--full of piss and vinegar. Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted November 23, 2008 This is a favourite of your recent uploads. I like the composition and the quality of light. The grid work and wires silhouetted against that blue sky work so well. The warm light of the sun on the sign looks positively lively. The scene looks decrepit and cheerful at the same time. bosshogg 4 Posted November 23, 2008 I guess the early morning light brings hope with it. The rest of the scene is sort of a paean to the decaying infrastructure of our industrialized society. Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted November 23, 2008 Dave, I try not to loose sight of the fact that the rising sun brings hope with it each and every day.... on some days that turns out to be more of a challenge than on others. Thanks for the reminder. Link to comment
