wogears 186 Posted November 11, 2008 Very good composition and tone. May be a little over-dodged--the contrast looks a bit unnatural. Link to comment
glaucodattini 0 Posted November 11, 2008 Excellent composition, perfect tones and contrast, very fine B&W! Best Regards,. Glauco (7/7 anon.) Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted November 11, 2008 Birte, Thank you for commenting. Les, I really wanted to bring out all the different lines and textures in this.It looked like a busy universe of past activty to me. I think you are right though, I probably did over-dodge & burn. Thanks so much for the constructive comment. I always appreciate it when someone takes the time. Thank you and all the best Glauco, thank you, good to hear from you. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted November 11, 2008 I like the strong contrast and I think you did a very admirable job of framing the shot. There may be a few dust spots on the lens that are showing up in the sky. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted November 11, 2008 Never mind about the dust spots. Upon viewing the shot larger I see that is not the case. Nice work! Link to comment
steve b 0 Posted November 12, 2008 Very nice perspective. Excellent job with the tones, composition and DOF. This photo really stands out. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 12, 2008 Beautiful lighting, perspective, and a great sense of depth. The foreground grasses are particularly nicely and delicately handled and provide a great foil to the more dramatic and bold aspects of the photo. Link to comment
john van aarle 0 Posted November 13, 2008 A very well composed sort of 'nature-architectural' capture! The tight framing works well and enhances some of the features of this interesting view... Attractive b/w colors and details, good angle / pov. Regards: John Link to comment
