RickDB 10 Posted November 6, 2008 This side chapel, beautifully lit by the afternoon sun, is on the south side, east of, and adjacent to, the Wenceslas Chapel. Any one know what it is named? Link to comment

RickDB 10 Posted November 11, 2008 ...this indeed is a great cathedral, I spent 5 h in here taking pics. Jack, the 24 TS-E lens is fantastic for shots like these - handholding it takes a little getting used to but when tripods are not allowed, you have to do what you can. Cheers! RickDB Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted November 11, 2008 Between you and Dennis Aubrey, I can say I saw a lot of wonderful cathedrals.. This is a beauty! And Prague is so wonderful I was there twice. I came home yesterday after a long flight and a great experience . I was thrilled to find your email to me at the Boston meeting! thank you so much! Dennis Aubrey put a lot of work and attention in organizing the meeting, and it was so wonderful! for me, you were present in this meeting as Jack McR from Japan, Gordon B. Chris H, that have sent me emails.! It was such an excitment. Rick, thanks so much, it was a great friendship email with the dancing photo ! I appreciate and keep it! Link to comment
RickDB 10 Posted November 12, 2008 ...Just imagine how jealous Dennis and I are of you, living in Europe where all those wonderful cathedrals are! So glad you had a great time with Dennis and friends, just sorry I couldn't be there in person. You certainly timed your visit well for the fall colors. Looking forward to seeing more of your impressive work. Best regards, RickDB Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted November 12, 2008 I live in the Middle East, in Israel! where do you live? It is a very long flight from Israel to the the USA. ( 12-11 hours), but the meeting In Boston and with my family were so great that it was worth it! Dennis is a special human being. Thanks again Rick, I have a lot of post processing and emails to write, but I hope we shall keep dialoging and following each other works. Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 436 Posted November 15, 2008 Some of the merit goes to the ancient architects though, ha! BTW, the picture is too high for PN, others are too wide, that's why I make my pictures approximately to the square format! PDE Link to comment

aginbyte 0 Posted January 25, 2009 ... haven't been able to spend much time on PN, and it is a pleasure to come back and find shots like this. I love how the shot looks past the shaded foreground pillars to the beautifully lit altar in the side chapel. Fine fine work. Link to comment
RickDB 10 Posted February 6, 2009 I, too, have been away from PN for a while and it is great to come back to find your kind comments. St. Vitus was just fantastic, but capturing such splendour without a tripod was a challenge! I have just been putting my new 5D2 through its paces with the 24mm TS-E - the image quality and detail you can capture with a 21mp FF sensor is truly amazing. Now I have to get back to Europe sometime soon! Best regards, RickDB Link to comment
