Well done. Light is managed effectively (in a situation with potential for errors), to:

give the textures in the hat, hair, and skin which each contribute in their own way, and

keep the overall balance of light and dark with the face emerging(?) fro the shadows in a very alluring way.

This is marvelous. I can see some variations though like what if there was a one eye contact or slightly more open composition. I suspect they weren't any better, just different variations. The tones here - super!. Those lips!
