Assignment: Make anything moving freeze.

Help me please and criticize this picture.SS: 1/250, F5, ISO 640

could be ice not water.

Do you think it's still look like water? Me too. I tried faster SS, it looked the same ;o(

First off I would try to change the white balance so that the foam wasn't so blue looking. Also I feel that the subject could be more interesting if you narrowed the scope, perhaps if you were closer to the first stream, and maybe moved a little to the right and looked a little more down the row. In that case a narrow DOF would be beneficial, but from this perspective I feel that the wider DOF would have been beneficial because if you are going to freeze the water I think it would help if more of it were in focus.
