dougbrill 0 Posted October 29, 2008 From a series of images of Arlington West. A temporary monument on Santa Monica Beach that is setup each Sunday in memory of the fallen US soldiers in Iraq. Comments on any of the series images are welcome. Link to comment
Brad Cloven 58 Posted October 30, 2008 Is there another exhibit for the 1,000,000 killed by Saddam? Would take awhile to set up, I suppose. Link to comment

dougbrill 0 Posted October 30, 2008 Thanks for the comments. Brad, There are signs at the site that give estimates of the numbers of Iraqis killed and I believe it is over 1,000,000. These are the Iraqis killed since the US went into Iraq. There is no doubt that under Saddam many people were killed. I only question why the burden of removing tyrants like Saddam needs to come at the cost of our soldiers lives. The financial cost of the war is also significant. Link to comment
