The white space, frame left, tends to pull my eye away from your subject to... nothing. Have you considered cropping to just the lady and printing it in portrait mode rather than landscape?

 

You caught a pensive expression on her face; nice shot. Was it posed or candid?

 

Patrick, I understand why you didn't want to crop and make a typical "tightly framed" image, but I still find the bright expanse of white to be too jarring. Perhaps if you printed down the white area with buring or flashing it would serve your purpose yet make it less distracting.

 

I like your image very much. The expression and feeling you captured is one of those "happy accidents" that we are sometimes fortunate enough to get....You put yourself in a position do to so.

I see a lighting problem, the too-light background detracts attention from the very beautiful and well-posed model.

i think the bright background makes this shot interesting, don't do anything! it's really great as it is!

I like how the other photos in the roll frame this. Great idea!

 

I also like the tone -- unless my eyes are fooling me this is not straight B&W.

 

My one criticism is that I would like to see slightly higher contrast here (without further blocking up the path behind her).

Nice one! I didn´t see the film marks at first glimpse so I thought she´s framed by a window. Very good DOP.

I like to shoot people the way you shoot. I really like this picture as it is, its outstanding, the whiteness doesn't bother me and the framing is original as well...
