ndj 0 Posted October 25, 2008 Great image Scott. Love the expression on this guys face. Pure contentment. Not sure how anyone can rate something like this 4/4. Not like it's from the zoo??? Great stuff! All the best,Neil Link to comment
cromwell1664877587 0 Posted October 25, 2008 I'm not sure either, Neil.:) I assume some people would think my bear shots were shot in a zoo if they hadn't read the comments in just a few of them. Including "shot in the wild" in all of the titles might look kind of tacky though. Also, I've posted so many of these, I have the feeling some people might be getting tired of seeing them. I usually just post my favorite 1 or 2 from any photo shoot, but I just can't help myself.:) I only wish I shot the photo I took a fraction of a second before this one at 400mm like I did with this one, so I would've caught a closeup of her tongue rolling out at the beginning of the yawn. Instead I shot it at 135mm, since I was busy shooting a landscape with her sitting out in the open in front of the mountains. Link to comment
alight 0 Posted October 27, 2008 this is a great shot. It looks like the bear just woke up and is still kinda drowsy. BTW, you're a chicken, man - shooting bears with telephoto lenses. Get a nice 50mm lens and sneak in closer. What's life without adventure? Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
cromwell1664877587 0 Posted October 28, 2008 The person standing behind me shot this and you can see my telephoto lens. 50mm would've been about right for me on this one. Link to comment
alight 0 Posted October 28, 2008 that doesn't count - the bear must be running for the president. Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
jeverz 0 Posted October 28, 2008 What a beautiful photo of this bear, taken at the right moment! (Thanks for your comment on my rats. A book would be a great idea....will think about it. I have made a few calendars on Redbubble. Best regards.) Link to comment
