Pnina...A haunting image...beautifully rendered..It looks as though this woman has imbibed a bit too much and is being visited by the spirit world..the fall leaves are a great added touch. I like that the red leaves match the woman's dress and the tan leaves match the spirits..Great shot...Marjorie

Catalin, thanks , nice to see you again

Jeff, I think it is a bit far from a waltz....;-)) thanks for an interesting analogy

Marjorie thanks, I like your interpretation, what is so interesting, is the commentary given by different viewers, not necessarily the photographer's one. I like when the impressions are well depicted, and sometimes they enlarge the concept....

Joao, thanks for your impression!

Deb and I practiced waltzing for hours prior to our wedding. I absolutely recognize that this is NOT a waltz. Although I have to say that the person collapsed on the floor looks like me when I try to dance. I heard sweeping music upon seeing this picture. A nice addition.

Pnina:

What a beautiful photograph! Great capture of the motion, and the colors are gorgeous.

I'm sure that Bacchus would be very pleased with your work. So am I . . .

The combination of the blur and the positioning of the two upright dancers tends to merge the two into one in my mind. The strong diagonal rails skewering the dancers is an interesting result. I would have been tempted to crop the image at the end of the rails before the downward support, to leave the nature of the rails more ambiguous.

Gord, thanks for your wide impression and suggestion. it is a possibility that I have tried, but I thought that the lower part is framing the lying figure, and composition wise liked it better....;-)) thanks for your advice always taking it seriously.!

.....And waited for the exact moment you did. You managed to capture the scene under a magnificent light; and the sense of movement makes wonders for it as well. All in all a wonderful picture, congratulations!

Oh, this is very good with the layered and intersecting components which collaborate in creating the aura of the stage. The red dress looks like it comes right out of an Edward Hopper painting.
