Gateway to Heaven

Thangu, situated at an altitude of approximately 14,000 feet (4,267

meters) and about 2 hours drive from Lachen. It is a small vellage

where the visitors usually acclimatize before they proceed to Guru

Dongmar Lake, Muguthang or Cho Lhamu (source of River Teesta)and treks

to Chopta Valley.

7/6 - a magnificent image. I also like the triangular composition - land mass vs the grey portion. In my own photography, I try to avoid large 'empty' spaces but I think the grey works well in this case.
