jrsteel 0 Posted October 13, 2002 I'm brand spanking new here and this image was one of the first I have taken with my new Tokina 17mm. Will be interested in observations. Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted October 14, 2002 I like the composition, it has a smooth as glass feel to it. Link to comment
brian_so 0 Posted October 14, 2002 I just love this shot!!! It is great, I just wished I was there to shoot it, I am also a rookie myself and trying to build a library of photos before posting them up. Great shot by the way!!! Link to comment

jefro 0 Posted October 16, 2002 Lovely shot, a little dark in the foreground but I know I couldn't do better Link to comment
erik_kowalewsky 0 Posted October 16, 2002 The very dark bottom and out of focus horizon detract some. I like the clouds. Link to comment
monti 0 Posted November 2, 2002 It's a nice image with proper exposure but it's largely a sunset image with complementary elements that compositionally don't add enough dynamic content to make a great image. Your using a 17mm but your chosen composition isn't really emphasizing a near/far relationship because of the required exposure, the amount of sky in the image and the somewhat redundant foreground. Consequently the image feels aesthetically flat. Link to comment
hayward 0 Posted November 6, 2002 Very good, PS or not. The "3" above is absurd. An argument that this photo is "below average" can't be substantiated. Link to comment
arnold_fruller 0 Posted February 17, 2007 Superb colours. Perhaps this lens is mediocre or LF necessary ? Link to comment
