Christine - I really like many aspects of this photo, love the hanging newspaper and the through-the-door frame POV. And I like the red curtain at the top. But, I think (at least on my tiny laptop monitor) the details of the bar are lost. I think you can improve that somewhat with Photoshop (burning in some areas), but perhaps another crop would help too (cutting it down to a landscape) (though I just tried and was not happy with the crop - so much for advice) :-)

I like this one for it has a genuine feeling and it makes me think of all the journeys that I've made to numerous hotels around Europe. The lounges always tend to have the same smell everywhere and there always the long coffee machine. What I don't like here is that the light looks green inside like there'd been wrong whitebalance setting. Then again it could be the wall with true Yellow/green tint reflecting because the far edge of the ceiling seems most green. Anyway, I like this.
