isabellathompson 0 Posted October 8, 2008 I spied this old rundown cemetary on the way to the Isle of Skye from mainland Scotland earlier this year and thought I'd have a go at converting it to B&W. What are your thoughts? I really appreciate your comments and critiques. Cheers from Australia, Isabella. Link to comment
daved1 1 Posted October 9, 2008 Is this HDR? Great tonal range and the overall darkness creates a great mood to the image. I like your perspective and the diagonal and vertical lines created in your composition. I do have trouble with any individual thing holding my attention for very long and you might consider a slightly tighter crop on the left side to hold my eye in the frame better. Keep them coming and have fun. Link to comment
terrygilroy 0 Posted October 9, 2008 Good composition and I like the lead in with the daffs but for me it is spoilt by the poster(?) and the haloing around the building, regards Link to comment
isabellathompson 0 Posted October 13, 2008 Thanks for your helpful critiques of this image. I am new to the world of B&W photography and find your comments extremely helpful. I have re-worked this image taking your points onboard and will re-post shortly for further critique. Thanks again. Isabella. Link to comment
