Hi Jacqueline ... I've kind of given up commenting on your photos because they're all so brilliant ... most of them take my breath away. Even this series in black and white is stunning ... which is saying something after your many masterpieces in amazing colour combinations and tones. However in this case I wanted to comment on how Malena is growing up and the method in your madness of having taken so many shots of her infant years is coming home to roost. As a 66 year old dad myself, I've seen many litle kids become big kids ... and they are no longer those little vulnerable angels any more ... only memories ... of which the absolute best reminder is photographs ... video and sound recordings are good too but photos are instantly accessible. So congratulations for setting a great example to other mums and dads and immortalising your baby girl's early years in such a splendid and artistic manner. You are a shining light and a total credit to this website and to the art of photography.
