jbidarra 0 Posted September 28, 2008 Beautiful image. Nice effect of the long exposure on the water. Good composition. Maybe, just maybe, the water is a tad dark. Regards. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted September 28, 2008 It looks great to me. I like the effect of looking from behind the movement. Link to comment
wmhoodphoto 0 Posted September 29, 2008 I like the level of blue here. It creates an illusion of glowing lights beneath the surface. Nice job. Link to comment
mnelson 0 Posted September 29, 2008 That is the best ND shot I've ever seen. It's different from the rest. I really like the blue. M Link to comment
atle.g 0 Posted September 29, 2008 Thank you all for your comments! Have not yet decided if im going to brighten it up a bit. the blue will then loose some snap.... Link to comment
stp 6 Posted September 30, 2008 I'd leave it as is. The color and texture of the water are in such contrast to the rest of the image that it really catches the eye. This will appeal to many but not to all -- you can't please everyone with an image that has some striking elements like this. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted October 6, 2008 I'd leave it just as it is too. But to be precise, you could - technically speaking - go brighter without losing the snap of the blue (by changing hue and saturation, then playing with "selective color" in PS). Besides this, I'd just say that this one is my favorite among your last 3 posts - by quite a margin. The vertical picture was as nice as this, but less surreal, and less original to me. Here, I just love the way the water seems to "glow" and draws at the same time some kinds of spirals or such that reminded me immediately of the strokes in Van Gogh's painting. Creat curvy lines all over this frame ! Superb. Link to comment
